The September meeting of the Richmond County Astronomy Club occurred on September 9, 2025. We had a record number of 12 people in attendance. We discussed telescopes, eclipses, and why T Corona Borealis hasn’t gone NOVA yet. The group also planning upcoming astronomy activities. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at Richmond Community College.

World Wide Flora Fauna
Starting August 1, 2025 I will be participating in the World Wide Flora and Fauna in amateur radio AUGUST IN THE PARKS WWFF 2025 event. I will be participating as an activator and a hunter. Please consider checking to see if the POTA park you are participating in is also a WWFF and review the rules for submitting your logs to WWFF. I hope to be active on CW and SSB. I hope to work you soon. I’ll be posting the link to WWFF in the comments. The activity event will start at 00:01 UTC on August 1st and will end at 23:59 UTC on August 31. The logs are all updated to Parks on the Air and World Wide Flora Fauna and QRZ.
