Sharing Your Faith

Mark Gibson

As an amateur radio operator we practice our skill of setting up our radio to talk to other amateurs all over the world. We have permission to set up at state and national parks and wildlife refuges. Sometimes we meet the public in our activities and on New Year’s Day 2024 I was operating from the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge near Wadesboro, NC. A couple walking approached me and motioned for me to invite them to come closer so I gave them permission. We started talking and subject of safety came up and they related a story they had about a van from Maryland with tinted windows going slow. Luckily nothing happened but that led me to share the fact that I was a Christian and how I had the feelings from the Holy Spirit that keeps me safe or warns me of danger. They had a nice smile in agreement.

Just wanted to share and I have asked the Lord to give me more options to share my testimony with others.

We have to be careful as we go out to various parks.
