Today I activated Park K-6835 Charles B Aycock Birthplace State Historic Site in Fremont, NC.  The forecast called for rain, so I chose not to hang up my dipole. I set up my Chameleon antenna set up. I always debate on rather or not letting the park officials know what I doing and today I decided on letting them know. I am glad I did. The park official ask questions and told me his father was a radio operator in the military and remembered him using Collins radio.
