The rain forecast made me to decide to operate from the car today using my MFJ Short HF Mobile Ham-tenna. 13 contacts mostly p2p but did make a couple of contacts by calling cq on 15 and 40. I activated US-8010 yesterday. The parks join each other but they are not a two for. I had good reports on my signal today. Thanks for the contacts. In the video I said 35th activation actually 34th.

Great day for an activation. Started out cloudy and cold but ended up sunny. This is the third activation for me. Had two sets of visitors approach me. I got to tell them about amateur radio and gave them my card. As you are setting up just be aware of your obstacles. If I get too carried away I could slip into the ditches around the area. The antennas location doesn’t look like a dream antenna but I enjoyed the signals. This is in North Carolina. Thanks for the hunters and p2p.
