Amateur Radio US-7787 #3 Bush Mill Stream State Natural Area

I activated US-7787 #3 Bush Mill Stream State Natural Area. I used my hamtenna vertical antenna on the car.  It’s interesting as you get into activating parks you start to get to remembering stations you work. This is a nice park but parking is limited. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.

VA US-4581 Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail

 My first activation of VA US-4581 Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail Staying at my friend’s vacations house and he told me about a public area near the trail.  It started as a cold morning but by the time I was complete it was warm.
